About Sid & Ink

Sidney Houck (she/her) is a visual artist, preschool director, and self proclaimed “theatre creature”. She considers herself a maker through and through, dabbling in many mediums and frequently delving headfirst into new creative fields, often teaching herself along the way. Sidney’s experience in performance art has deeply impacted her creative style, inviting experimentation, theatricality, and playfulness to leak into her artistic process. Currently, you can find Sidney teaching in South Philadelphia, or in her cozy home/art studio with her wonderful husband, smelly dog, and her greatest creation - her daughter, Ivy Louise.
